About Me
Hi, I'm Mackenzie — a wife, mama to two beautiful girls, X-ray tech by trade, and photographer by heart. I call Arkansas home, where life feels a little slower, the light a little softer, and the memories a little sweeter.
Photography started as a simple hobby about four years ago — just me, my camera, and a deep love for capturing my family’s story. What began as a way to freeze our own moments quickly grew into something so much bigger: a passion for documenting the raw, real, and joy-filled moments in other families’ lives, too. That’s how Golden Quartz Photo Co. was born.
The name is rooted in something deeply personal — inspired by my family’s quartz crystal mine, and my love of earthy, golden tones and natural beauty. Quartz represents clarity, light, and timelessness — everything I strive to bring into the images I create. “Golden” reflects the warmth and heart behind every session, the glow of sunset, the love between families, and the golden seasons of life we never want to forget.
